Memorable Wedding Dresses
Grace Kelly, in Helen Rose. When Grace Kelly became Princess Grace in 1956, she wore a Helen Rose creation. Helen was a costume designer at MGM, the studio to which Kelly was contracted. She offered the gorgeous gown as a wedding gift.
Diana Spencer in Elizabeth and David Emmanuel. It was a dress fit for a princess (and a dress only a princess could get away with). Lady Diana Spencer chose British designers Elizabeth and David Emmanuel to create her 1981 gown, which went on to inspire many a big-sleeved frock.
Audrey Hepburn, in Balmain. Audrey chose a very of-the-moment Balmain shift dress when she married second husband Andrea Dotti in 1969. Often, brides it find it difficult to choose a dress for a second marriage - we think Audrey got it just right here.
Gwen Stefani in Dior It was a rock'n'roll wedding, with a rockin' dress. We love Gwen's dip-dyed pink and white dress. It's so completely her, isn't it?
Portia de Rossi in Zac Posen It was a memorable wedding for lots of reasons, but one of the loveliest aspects of Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres's wedding was that the brides both wore Zac Posen. Ellen wore a suit, while Portia opted for this classically feminine gown.
